We hired SL photography to shoot our wedding at Cecil Green Park House in July 2022, and at Hotel Rosewood Georgia before the wedding. Our package included an engagement shoot (a great opportunity to get more comfortable in front of the camera). Ming and his team were extremely professional, personable, and talented. They go above and beyond what’s expected with 5 star photography. Their positive attitudes and hard working attitudes were an added bonus. I have never seen so many photos come out so beautiful. All of our guests loved having them at the wedding and only had great things to say.
I would hire SL again in a heartbeat and would recommend them to anyone that needs a photographer for an event. Thank you so much for everything!!

Dreamy wedding shoot! Ming is our special event photographer extraordinaire. He has now been part of 4 family and friend weddings! Our intimate covid wedding has been photographed in all its vibrancy thanks to his eye for capturing the smallest details. For my husband and I, people who are self conscious and hesitant with photos, Ming met with us in person, discussed what we wanted, and made our portrait photo session so much fun - truly gathering the essence of who we are in all our playful nerdiness. I’m looking forward to our 5th anniversary just so I can have Ming take our pictures again! Thank you Ming!

Words cannot express how amazing SL-Photography is! We had the pleasure of having Ming as our photographer, but he is so much more than just a photographer to us; he is truly a wonderful friend that we feel blessed to have shared our special day with. He is down-to-Earth, hilarious, super talented and has ninja-like skills, he will climb things, or brave the harsh cold weather in order to get those perfect shots. Ming captured incredible moments throughout our special day, calmed us when we felt stressed or camera-shy and we cannot thank him enough. We are in love with all of the photos we've received and our guests have had nothing but great things to say about him! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, our day would not have been the same without you!

Amazing and super affordable wedding photographer! Ming and Tyler were one of the best decisions we made in terms of vendors at our wedding. Ming was extremely responsive from my initial email all the way until our wedding day. Their prices are a lot more affordable than some but the quality of their photos is just as high. We’ve had so many compliments on our photos. They made my husband and I feel super comfortable in front of the camera and it really just felt like hanging out with friends. I can’t recommend them enough!

Ming and Tyler were fantastic! I did a LOT of research prior to booking a photographer and they were my first choice. Because of that I already had pretty high expectations for them. However, even with that, they went above and beyond our expectations with the quality of their photographs and with basically every aspect of their service.
The photographs turned out amazing and we couldn't be happier. We have looked through them a ton since receiving them and they bring us back to those moments so vividly. They were very professional and responsive pre, during and post wedding. They were also both very easygoing and personable the day of the wedding. This is something I didn't really think about before booking but it is a huge help and very important now that I realize how much time you will be spending with them :)
Finally, their price is amazing for what you get. They spent 12+ hours on site and over an hour travelling each way for our wedding and did it for less than others charge for 8-10 hours.
As I mentioned before, I spent a lot of time researching photographers before the wedding. Hopefully this review can save you some of that time. These guys are great!

We loved working with Ming and Tyler at our wedding at Fraser River Lodge last November. Everyone kept saying that our "ninja photographers" were so great at blending into the background but still capturing everything. We even had Ming busting a move on the dance floor! I honestly felt like they stayed for the full 12 hours. We kept trying to shoo them home but they were so dedicated. Despite our concern that we are not photogenic at all, there are some beautiful photos - including some magical night photos. My only bummer is that we missed some photo opportunities from my shot list. I would've liked more posed bride/groom 1:1 photos and photos of our rings (but we probably needed so much direction that that was impossible hahaha). My bridesmaids and I don't have any group photos outside like the groomsmen did. We also missed a family portrait with my dad's side of the family (we only got my mums full family). I was so caught up in the moment and the fact that it was pouring rain that I didn't review the shot list at all. I remember the photographers asking me if we got them all too. Hopefully going forward they can print it out and check stuff off because relying on the bride's brain on the day-of is apparently not very reliable! haha!
Overall, they did a fantastic job, their pricing is way more reasonable than other companies at the same level, and I would highly recommend them!

We were completely blown away by Ming's talent and professionalism! He photographed our preparation, ceremony and reception. We had no lack of pictures to choose from for our album - in fact it was very difficult to choose because there were so many great shots. He had two cameras and was going a mile a minute all day long. He was also so great with the guests at our wedding! Every one had such great things to say about him because he was so pleasant and fun! We also got the photos very quickly after the wedding which was a nice surprise. I highly recommend Ming for your photography needs. He captured so many beautiful moments so perfectly and we're going to treasure these pictures forever.

Great fun and wonderful pictures! We did the pre-wedding session with SL photography, and we absolutely LOVE their works! They are so talented, professional and creative! Before the photo shoot, we had an hour of consultation with them which was very helpful. They gave us several suggestions for the style we like. And we had a great time on the shooting day. You have no idea how much my friends and families love these pictures. They are one of the best gifts we got for the wedding. :)
